  13. This is a simple top download bulletin generator program. I couldn't find one, so I put this together. If you find it useful, it's free for your use.

  21. INSTALLATION:
  22.  
  23. Place the CTRTOPDL.WCX in your Wildcat! home directory. Add it to your
  24. sysop menu. Place CTRTOP20.CFG in your Wildcat! DATA directory.

  26.   Editing the cfg file:
  27.  
  28. There are four lines in the config file.
  29.  
  30. Center Ice BBS      <  Your BBS name
  31. 20            <  # of top downloaded files you want displayed
  32. Bulletin            <  Bulletin or Online *
  33. bull5.bbs           <  Bulletin file name
  34.  
  35.                       * If you enter Online in the config file, you can                                                            
  36.                         run this from any menu and the output is      
  37.                         generated to the screen. Unless you have a small
  38.                         amount of files online, less than 1000, I would
  39.              not recommend this method.

  41. Running the program:

  43. Run it from your sysop menu. It's been tested on a Pentium 75 with 6,000 files online, and it scans thru the file database in 1 minute and 15 seconds.
